Scene characterization using Sub-Aperture Polarimetric Interferometric SAR Data

چکیده
In this paper, a fully polarimetric analysis method is introduced to decompose synthesized Interferometric SAR images into sub-aperture data sets, which correspond to the scene responses under different azimuthal look-angles. A statistical analysis of polarimetric parameters permits to clearly discriminate media showing a non-stationary polarimetric behavior during the SAR integration. A method is proposed, to observe the polarimetric interferometric properties of anisotropic targets.

Scene Characterization Using Sub-Aperture Polarimetric SAR data Analysis
In this paper is introduced a fully polarimetric sub-aperture analysis method. A deconvolution technique is developed in order to decompose synthesized SAR images into sub-aperture data sets which correspond to the scene global response observed under different azimuthal look angles. A polarimetric variation analysis is achieved, using pertinent parameters, to determine the nature of the non-st...

متن کاملStatistical Segmentation of Polarimetric Sar Data
This paper introduces an approach to the classification and interpretation of SAR data using complementary polarimetric and interferometric information. Strictly polarimetric and polarimetric interferometric data are first analyzed and classified separately. An unsupervised polarimetric segmentation, based on multivariate Wishart statistics, is applied to one of the separate polarimetric datase...
متن کاملAnalysis of Sar Response Anisotropic Behavior Using Sub-aperture Polarimetric Data
Conventional SAR processing techniques generally assume that targets have a stationary behavior during the SAR integration. However, SAR sensors operating at lower frequencies, like Land P-band, have a wide antenna characteristic in azimuth; i.e. during the formation of the synthetic aperture, multiple squint-angles are integrated to build the full-resolution SAR image. In this paper, a fully p...
متن کاملCurrent Developments in Airborne SAR Remote Sensing
In the recent past, airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) remote sensing has witnessed several principal and technical improvements. In particular, spatial resolution has been increased significantly, polarimetric SAR, polarimetric interferometric SAR, and tomographic SAR were introduced, and repeat-pass interferometric SAR was developed for airborne SAR sensors. These advances have made poss...
